Dimapur, March 30 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the untimely demise of (L) Sergeant (Posthumous) Joseph C Wangsa of Security Task Force (STF) Battalion, Naga Army from Mon village under Konyak Region on March 29.
He enrolled in the Naga national service on the November 15, 2019, the NSCN (IM) stated in a condolence message issued through its MIP.
“In his short service to the Naga nation, he served with unwavering national spirit until his demise for which his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifice for the Naga nation ever be cherished by all. The void created by his demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in,” it said.
The NSCN (IM) conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
