Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): The NSCN (K) led by Niki Sumi has extended greetings to the members of Yimkhiung and Kuki communities on the occasion of Tsungkamneo and Mimkut festivals respectively.
“Festival is a time to celebrate friendship and unity while also upholding Naga people's distinct cultural heritage,” read a statement issued by MIP, NSCN/GPRN.
“Let us remind ourselves that Nagas need to be one people with one common goal for peace and progress and let celebration of such colourful festival reignite the spirit of unity and brotherhood among the people,” it added further wishing the Yimkhiungs and Kukis a prosperous year ahead.
