‘Together We Can End Gender-Based Violence in Education’
Kohima, November 22 (MExN): The Nagaland State Commission for Women is organizing a Launching Programme of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence on the theme: “Together We Can End Gender-Based Violence in Education!” on November 25. The observation will continue till December 10 which is International Human Rights Day.
A press release from the Commission informing this extended invitation to unit representatives of all the Tribal Women Hohos of the state to attend the same.
A book titled “Baseline Survey on Social, Economic and Political Empowerment of Women in Nagaland” conducted and published by NSCW, and sponsored by the National Commission for Women, New Delhi will also be release during the programme.
During the campaign period, banners, posters and pamphlets produced by NSCW on the theme will be widely distributed by the relevant Women Hohos in all the districts and sub-divisions.
