NSF flays Governor’s office

Dimapur, October 7 (MExN): The Office of the Naga Students’ Federation has alleged that the Governor’s office has let down the Students’ community. As per the directive from the Governor’s office, all the Government Colleges through the Vice Chancellor, Nagaland University and the Director Higher Education were to organize district level Quiz competition on the “life and works of Mahatma Gandhi” where the first three winners of each district were to be awarded with cash prizes on October 2 at Raj Bhavan, Kohima. But the students only received a certificate and a book, citing no reason for their inability to give the prize money, stated a press release by Imtiyapang Imsong, General Secretary NSF. The federation has thus appealed upon the highest office of the state which is revered by all to clarify the matter or give away the award as assured earlier to the participants and the students’ community at the earliest possible time.
