Circle FC Chedema, Tribal Stallions FC, Michazou FC, and Jakhama Y.O all notched victories in their respective matches today at the 24th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2024, hosted at Indira Gandhi Stadium under the theme “Goal for Peace.”

Circle FC dominated Eagles FC with a staggering 14-0 scoreline in the opening match. Thatkadhar Zimik was a standout, scoring five goals, while Kekhrie Tsira added a hat trick. Joseph and Henry each contributed two goals, and Vijay Kumar and Tongminsei netted one apiece. Henry earned the Man of the Match honor, presented by KK Angami, a supporter of the Angami Students Union.

In the second match, Tribal Stallions FC defeated BKK Jakhama 4-1. Kekrusezo led the scoring with two goals, while Myjoy and Naseeb each added one. Vitsoto Natso scored the lone goal for BKK. Myjoy was named Man of the Match, receiving recognition from Thejalhoukho Thomas Khawakhrie, vice president of the Angami Students Union.

The third match saw Michazou FC edge out Nousi Riizhii in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Kedovituo Miasalhou scored for Nousi Riizhii, with Kelechülie Tepa equalizing for Michazou. Michazou won the shootout 4-3, with Menuokho Ngukha earning Man of the Match, honored by Azha Mezhii, Assistant General Secretary of the Angami Students’ Union.
Jakhama Y.O capped off the day with a 4-0 victory over Elevate FC Tobu. Kulse Zhotso scored two goals, with Keduhoto Zao and Vikuto Tase each contributing one. Yellow cards were issued to Bumang Konyak and Anders Joshua Konyak from Elevate FC, as well as Medoneiu from Jakhama Y.O. Alemse of Jakhama Y.O was named Man of the Match, honored by Zekuseto, former convenor of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy.
