Kohima, October 7 (MExN): A farewell programme for Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA), outgoing Member Secretary N Longshithung Ezung, NJS cum handing over files to incoming Member Secretary, Victo Sema, NJS was organized in Kohima on October 7.
The NSLSA in a press release stated that delivering a speech, Ezung opined that the humongous task of holding the legal services chair would not have been possible without the cooperation and understanding of the staffs given the deadlines and pressures. He asked them to continue to maintain cordial relationships among themselves to achieve the goals of legal services under the new leadership of the new MS.
Victo Sema, NJS will be taking over as new Member Secretary.
Speeches were also delivered by Project Coordinator, Kezhosano Kikhi and Nungsangchiba Jamir. Earlier the programme was chaired by Cherry Ovung, Project Coordinator.
Meanwhile, Longleng DLSA held a farewell programme for outgoing Secretary Ajongba Imchen, District & Sessions Judge Zunheboto.
The outgoing Secretary in his speech shared memories and experiences. He also encouraged Panel Lawyers to render the best and timely services to the people who are in need and expressed that the Legal Services Authority with the motto “Access to Justice for all” shall endure for the benefits of the people.
Monyei Phom, District Project Assistant chaired the programme.
