Mokokchung, June 9 (MExN): Rural Development block Kobulong, Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) visited Mopungchuket village to disseminate information on Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The team informed that under the scheme, the ministry offers free trainings under various skill up-gradation programmes for unemployed youths between 15 to 35 years of age. It was also informed that the objective of the mission was to leapfrog out of poverty in one generation, stated a press release. The ministry offers free trainings in different sectors like agriculture, apparels like tailoring, knitting, etc. The visiting team was led by Moatoshi, Block Programme Manager and Limawati Aier and Sobotula, Area Coordinators.
