Dimapur, December 2 (MExN): One unidentified dead body was recovered from the Dimapur railway track by Government Railway Police Station (GRPS) duty party on December 1, the Dimapur Police informed today. The body was recovered around 6.35 PM by the GRPS party on line-04 of Dimapur yard (at km 259/09-260/0).
The police said that the deceased was a “non-local male aged around 40-45 yrs (approx.)” and further described him as “fair complexion wearing olive green T-shirt.”
“On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination/identification,” informed a press release from Dy. Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur Police.
Claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased are requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge GRPS, Dimapur at 7085055021,’ it added.
