Kohima, June 29 (MExN): Razu Dzüve Krotho is organizing an open virtual solo competition for the young talents from Phek district.
Nuthipru Nienu, one of the founding members of Razu Dzüve Krotho informed that the purpose of the competition is to provide platform, discover the young talents and build their confidence to pursue their passion. The platform also aim to encourage and channelize positive energy amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
So far, 70 persons have registered for the competition out of which 60 submitted their videos.
The judges have shortlisted ten contestants for the final round namely: Sakulü Lohe, Hümünulü Curhah, Neitso-u Losou, Lolia Ngouri, Kute-o Koza, Thüjongolü Khüsoh, Rukuta Lohe, Pfita Pfunu, Tshezokhrou T Mero, and Vesekho Dozo.
The organiser requested the ten selected contestants to submit another video for the final round to its office official email address on or before the July 1 2021.
The final result will be declared in a few weeks from now.
Judges for the competition included Dr Hovithal Sothu, Project Director, Task Force for Music and Arts; Anuri L Nienu, International performing artist and Music Teacher, Baptist Theological College, Pfutsero and Vesavolu Rhakho, Musician.
The organiser further informed that the videos of all the participants would be made available on Razu Dzüve Krotho YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, two other founding members of the club Shoyisa Rhakho and Potso Keyho informed that the club was formed on January 1, 2021 at Chozuba town under Phek district, by a peer group of high school friends having shared common ambition towards the improvement of the society. They further mentioned that the group is a non-profit institution with the noble purpose of promoting culture and traditions, focusing on the growth and welfare of the student community, galvanising the youth in showcasing their potential and expertise.
