M-Table organization aspiring to assist and bring together upcoming Naga musicians is hosting a workshop titled “Out of the box 2” on July 1, 1:00 pm at Aida Building, Don Bosco, Dimapur.
Eminent personalities from the music industry like Jaya Singh (Asst. Manager – content acquisition and label artist relations, business development, Artist Aloud–Hungama), Tetseo Sisters (folk artists), Among Jamir (bass player of Pritam, former member of AGNEE), Alobo Naga (singer, song writer, composer), James Swu (music lecturer MSSM, composer and conductor), Moa Subong (musician, inventor of Bamhum) will be there at the workshop.
Apart from promoting importance of music education, the workshop will have discussions on different spheres of the music industry mainly focusing on how to make a living out of one’s music.
The members of the organization addressing a press conference at Hotel Grand Tizu here on June 26 mentioned that they are musicians coming together to give back to the society and that they encourage and wish to guide people interested in joining the music industry.
The organization has appealed to people of all age groups with a passion for music and for those who plan on working in the music industry to attend the workshop.
