Over 1000 avail free services at Mon Health Camp

  Morung Express News Mon | April 25   Altogether 1182 patients were treated during the free medical health camp conducted at District Hospital Mon from April 23 to 25.   The doctors from Mumbai with Dr. Suparana Nirgudkar, Physician as team leader who has been visiting for the fourth time since 2015 to Nagaland and first time in Mon, lead free medical health camp. She has given free treatment to more than 1000 patients and distributed medicines freely in different free medical health camp across Nagaland.   The team leader Dr. Suparana Nirgudkar conveyed that she is happy to serve the people and thank the doctors and staff of District Hospital for helping in all possible ways, the Mon District Administration for all the necessary arrangement for the successful conduct of the camp. “More than 80% of the patients got free medicines during the camp,” she added.   During the camp, Dr. Umesh Borwankar, Surgeon performed fifteen major operations and six minor operations; Dr. Rajan Relekar, Surgeon & Endoscopies did forty Upper GI endoscopies and three colonoscopies apart from many endoscopies and assist surgeries; Dr. Vidya Bhanushali, Physician and Dr. Gayatri Bhoir, Physician also gave free treatment and Atul Deshponde, Senior Marketing & Sales from Olympus Medical System Indian private limited supported with endoscopic equipments which has been brought from Mumbai to Nagaland.   Reny Wilfred (IAS) SDO (C), Mon on behalf of District Administration of Mon thanked the medical team from Mumbai. “Such free medical health camp is needed in the district and the people are very happy and got treatment freely,” the SDO (C) said.
