Over 2 lakh COVID-19 doses administrated in Nagaland

A total of 2, 07,027 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administrated so far in Nagaland, an official release informed today.  

Out of the total, 1, 65, 00 persons have received 1st dose while 42,020 have completed their 2nd dose, highlighted the release issued by State Immunization Officer (UIP), Dr Ritu Thurr. Further, a total of 1,61,898 people received their 1st dose at government health care unit centre while 3128 got their vaccines at private establishments.  

The numbers for 2nd dose were 41749 and 271 respectively for government and private health care units. 

Meanwhile, as per the data, the 45 years and above category has received the maximum doses at 107666 – 99910 (1st) and 7756 (2nd).

Frontline workers were next at 74812 doses - 50320 (1st) and 24492 (2nd). 

The health care workers were place third with a combine total of 24,549.

Nagaland is yet to start vaccination for 18-45 category due to vaccine supply issue.
