Peren, August 3 (MExN): The Peren District Athletics Association, in collaboration with Nagaland Athletics Association, will be celebrating Javelin Day at GHS Mhainamtsi in Peren district on August 7. The event is organised to commemorate the achievement of Neeraj Chopra, who secured a Gold medal for India at the Tokyo Olympics. During the celebration, a javelin throw competitions will be held for boys and girls in the given age group: U-12 years, U-14 years, and U-16 years.
