Peren monthly district review meeting held

Peren, September 9 (MExN): The Chief Medical Office, Peren District under the chairmanship of Dr Yartenla, Dy. CMO held it’s District Review Meeting on September 4 at CMO Conference Hall, Chief Medical Office, New Headquarter, Peren. The meeting was attended by the District Programme Officers, Medical Officers and health workers from all the Health Centers, DAPCU, NHP, District and Block Programme Management Unit Staff, NHM.


A press release issued by Pezanguno Celine Seii, District Media Officer, NHM, CMO Office Peren stated the Dy CMO welcomed all members and highlighted about the 11th Common Review Mission (CRM) under National Health Missions’s visit to the State in the month of October and requested all medical officers and health workers to maintain proper reports, register and to check their reports thoroughly. She informed about the reporting formats against the usage of Bio Medical Equipment Maintenance and requested the health units to call a toll free number in case of any problem. She also informed about the format for tobacco users registry and that it should be used in all OPD’s. She further added that incentives for JSY & JSSK should be given directly to the beneficiaries through bank transfer or if there is no bank, it could be done through postal service. She urged the health workers to create awareness to all beneficiaries to open their account in the post office, if opening it in a bank is not possible. 


Elizabeth, DPM reminded about the reporting formats of the Maternal and Child Death Surveillance and Response (MCDSR) which needs to be given utmost priority. She also requested the health units to submit the complete performance certificate format for the burial pit construction to the NHP team Peren at the earliest. 


Dr. Nukshisangla, DPO RCH/UIP reminded about the submission of micro planning for routine immunization. She also highlighted about how to maintain cold chain and the importance to track the drop out children for immunization. She highlighted and explained about the Poshan Maah 2019 which is being celebrated from September 1 to 30 to promote nutrition and health through convergent action in the community and creation of mass awareness down to the village level, with the aim to reach each and every household. She urged the health workers to give proper and sincere service to the people and provide full cooperation to the Social Welfare department in carrying out the task. She also requested all health workers, especially the ANM’s and ASHA’s to carry out intensive awareness using the Church Platforms.The next review meeting is fixed on  October 4, the release informed.
