Phek, January 18 (MExN): ATMA Phek district participated at the exhibition cum sales of self help groups products during the Sükrünye Mini Hornbill festival 2019 held at Phek District from January 15 to 17.
Participating SHGs, Joyous, Zuvekrotho and Surhu exhibited and sold ginger, cherry tomatoes, oranges, chow chow, pumpkin, tree bean, cabbages, mustard, banana, maize, groundnut, yam, colocasia, tree tomato, sugarcane, pomelo, pulses, rice, beans and cereals along with value added products. Technical folders were also distributed to the visitors.
Sükrünye guest Y Patton, Deputy Chief Minister, Nagaland (Home & National Highways) inaugurated and visited the exhibition stalls accompanied by chief host Neiba Kronu, Minister for Planning & Coordination and Land Revenue, Oernthung Lotha, Deputy Commissioner Phek and other dignitaries.
The guest was received and briefed by Dr Keviu Shuya, Deputy Project Director, ATMA-Phek about the SHG activities and organic products on display.
