Dimapur, June 7 (MExN): Results of the Photography competition on the theme ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’, organised by Nagaland Climate Studies and Knowledge Solutions Centre- Nagaland State Climate Change Cell (NSCCC), Nagaland Science and Technology Council NASTEC, Department of Science and Technology, Nagaland was declared on June 5.
The photo entries of all the participants were displayed at NBCC Convention Hall, Kohima during the State’s Observation of the World Environment Day June 5.
A press release informed that the Best Photography in the Mobile phone (Amateur) category was awarded to Wapangsungla Longkumer (NSLSA) while Amasha Das (St John School), Benye Thyug (Bethel Higher Sec School, Kohima) and Sue Jamir bagged the consolation prizes. In the DSLR (Professional) Category, photo submission by Teputo Richa (Entrepreneur- Richa Productions) was declared the best Photography. Koireng Meitei, Khwenhile Keppen (Immanuel College) and Videto Ltu were the consolation prize winners in this category.
The photos were judged on the basis of the photography in relation to the theme "Beat Plastic Pollution" and the accompanying slogan. The release also informed the winners to contact the organizing team to collect the cash prizes and certificates.
