
DIMAPUR, MARCH 5 (MExN): With Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to attend the proposed swearing in ceremony of the new ministry on March 8, 2018 at the local ground (Khuochiezie), Kohima, an emergency coordination meeting was convened by the Home Commissioner on Monday. A notification issued by Secretary, Home Department, Rovilatuo on the work assignment for the occasion said Fire & Emergency Department will deploy their fire tenders for dust removal/preventive measures with effect from Marcy 5, 2018; PWD Road & Bridges will take up emergency improvement of road between Assam Rifle Helipad to the local ground via Commissioner Office to be completed by March 6. Power requirement with necessary back up facility would be provided by the Power Department while Transport Department will arrange 20-30 vehicles for VVIPs car-cade by March 6. Contingency VVIPs car-cade to be kept ready at Dimapur for which Special Secretary Home will coordinate with Dimapur Administration and Police. The notification also informed that vehicle and accommodation for advance security party at Kohima and Dimapur should be kept ready by March 6 evening by Commissioner of Police/Deputy Commissioner Dimapur at Dimapur and Home (Protocol) at Kohima. It said refreshment on the spot after swearing in ceremony would be arranged by Women Resources Department while hotline/internet/telephone connection for the VVIPs would be provided at the rostrum by the BSNL which would be coordinated by Deputy Commissioner, Kohima. Police will issue car pass for the official invitee while invitations for the function will be issued by the Home Department. Every official involved in the arrangement for the function should obtain security pass from IGP (Intl) Police Department be getting themselves photographed or submitting 2 passport photos. After the function in the local ground, a press conference will be held in the New Secretariat main lobby which would be addressed by the Chief Minister, the notification informed.
