Range level literary competition held in Mokokchung

A range level literary competition on was held at ADC conference hall, Mokokchung organized by the DIG (Range/NAP), Mokokchung, under the aegis of the Nagaland Police Family Welfare Association.
Debate, essay writing and painting were the three categories of competition where members from DEF Mokokchung, DEF Mon, DEF Longleng and 2nd NAP BN participated. The topic for debate competition was ‘Is plastic free Nagaland a myth?’ and the essay and painting competition was held on the topic ‘Plastic free Nagaland.’ The competitions were solely for the children of Nagaland Police Personnel under the DIG (Range/NAP), Mokokchung.
On the same day, another DIG Range debate competition on Human Rights awareness was held on the topic ‘Naga Customary Practices and Tradition are in tune with changing times’ which was also participated by members from DEF Mokokchung, DEF Mon, DEF Longleng and 12th NAP (IR) BN participated. The DIG range debate competition is an annual event and the winners are selected to participate in the State level debate competition.
The selected participants in all categories of competition will also compete at the state level competition which will be held during the Police meet in the month of November. The judges for all the competitions were Temsuchuba Jamir, EAC, Mokokchung, Sentinaro, Advocate and Limasenla Jamir, Asst. Prof. Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung.
The competitions were moderated by Pholosing Sangtam NPS, Dy. SP (R) Mokokchung while Etssimongo Ngullie, IPS, DIG (RANGE/NAP), Mokokchung, gave the keynote address. The closing remark of the event was given by Imtimeren, NPS. Addl SP, Mokokchung.
