Rotarian cyclist on mission reaches Nagaland

Dimapur, September 20 (MExN): Two Rotarian cyclist - Fayiz KV and Rajith KK from Rotary International District 3202 (Kerala) reached Dimapur on September 19. They were received by Rotary Club members of Dimapur led by President, Ashok Agarwal.
According to a press release, the two Rotarian are International Cycle Riders from Malabar Cycle Club have embarked on their journey from Calicut on August 10 and will reach Singapore via Myanmar, Thailand covering seven countries in their distance of 8000+ kms in 120 days. The mission is to propagate Rotary International theme of Mark Maloney for this year “Rotary Connects the World”.
Sharing their experience, the duo said that till now have covered a distance of 3800+ kms, and came across the mountainous terrain, rough roads, interacted with people of different cultures, multiple languages of various religion, making it more adventures.
“The hospitality during the journey has been enriching shown by the Rotary family members,” they stated.
Rotary Club of Dimapur had a flag exchange and felicitation programme and extended support as they proceed towards Kohima on September 20 for their mission.
