
Tseminyu, March 26 (MExN): The Rengma Selo Zi (RSZ) during its interaction with the Additional Deputy Commissioner and Senior Medical Officer Tseminyu, has voluntarily decided to extend all possible assistance and support to the district administration in implementing the safest measures during the lockdown.
As Tseminyu headquarter does not have sufficient Police force and medical team, the youth bodies will extend support and assistance to the village authority in spreading awareness about COVID-19, the RSZ statement said.
The RSZ volunteers will, from time to time, assist the administration and Police force in making a routine checking of all business establishments on judicious issue and sale of basic commodities during this period, it said.
It also directed the business community to abide by the Government instructions on sale of commodities.
Violators will be reported to the appropriate authorities for immediate action which will lead to the extent of cancelling trade license and related documents, the RSZ warned.
It has also instructed all village youth to be vigilant and extend support to Village council. All routes entering into the Rengma area will be strictly manned. It further asked the state Government to supply and issue all basic equipment to the medical team to carry out their duty
All the doctors and medical fraternity posted under Tseminyu sub division have been asked to be in station to assist the people at any given situation.
The RSZ will strictly keep track record on any new entry of any citizens, both resident and non-resident, during these days, it said. It has also warned that no person should take the advantage of the situation and create any undue harassment to the public by way of hiking price of commodities, creating panic, spreading rumors etc.
