Pungro, August 16 (MExN): The Saramati Nexus Club in Pungro successfully organized its 10th Open Penalty Shoot-Out at the Local Ground, drawing participation from 30 teams across the region. The event, which took place on August 15, was inaugurated by S Kiusumew Yimchunger, Advisor for Home Guards & Civil Defence, Relief & Rehabilitation, Fire & Emergency Services, Government of Nagaland.
Star Brother FC ‘B’ emerged as the champions of the tournament, taking home the prize of Rs. 15,000. GHSS Pungro secured the runner-up position and was awarded Rs. 7,500. Additionally, Denrikha Francis of Star Brothers FC ‘B’ was honored with the Golden Glove award for his outstanding performance.
