Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The State Drug Controlling & licensing Authority (SDC&LA) today cancelled/suspended several drug licenses in Nagaland. This was informed in a press release issued by W H Patton, Joint Drugs Controller Controlling & Licensing Authority Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima.
The release said it was imposed consequent upon violation of various Provisions of Drugs & Cosmetic Act, 1940 and Rules 1945, and on the recommendation of the Screening Committee for Drug cases constituted Vide Government Notification No.HFW-22/B-2/2009/124, Dated May 11 2018.
The cancelled/suspended drug licenses are – M/s Yepthomi Medical, 7th Mile Dimapur, DL/NL/3152/3153; M/s Jagat Pharmacy, Melon DL/NL/726(N)/727(N); M/s Care Clinic Pfutsero DL/NL/2552/2553 4 and Velasayi Sapuh, Chazouba DL/NL/5380/5381. The SDC&LA further directed all wholesalers/stockiest/distributors “not to supply any drugs medicines to the above mentioned defaulters.”
