Dimapur, August 5 (MExN): A cadre of the Yung Aung led NSCN (K) was apprehended near Dhobinala, Dimapur, by security forces on August 2.
Based on specific intelligence regarding presence of UG cadre in the area, the security forces along with Police representative launched an operation and apprehended the individual, an official defence release stated.
The troops also recovered four fired cases of ammunition, extortion slips, letter pads of NSCN/GPRN (K-YA) and other incriminating material, it stated.
The apprehended person along with the recovered items has been handed over to West Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
