SHAMATOR, JUNE 19 (MExN): The Shamator Town Students’ Union held a joint meeting with district sports associations of various discipline viz- Football, Athletics, Volleyball, Boxing, Chess, Wushu, Sepaktakraw, Taekwondo, Badminton, Table Tennis on June 18 and resolved to work collectively under the banner of Shamator District Sports Association. The joint meeting also decided to maintain cordial relations among the associations and organise sport events every year. Meanwhile, the associations expressed their dismay over the non-availability of coaches and resources under various sports discipline in the district and resolved to place their grievances to the concerned Department or the State Government at the earliest.
