NMDA, DCCI condole Adyanthaya’s death
Dimapur, August 10 (MExN): The Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) has expressed deep shock at the sudden and untimely demise of Harish Adyanthaya, Vice President of NMDA and in this regard, has called upon all its members to keep their shops closed from 6am to 1pm on August 11 as a mark of respect. NMDA has requested the public to bear the inconveniences.
The Dimapur Chamber of commerce and Industry (DCCI) has also informed that all business establishments in Dimapur will remain closed on August 11, Thursday, from 6am to 12 noon as a mark of respect. While expressing regret to the public for the inconveniences, the DCCI has appealed all business community to kindly co-operate.
In a condolence message, NMDA informed that Adyanthaya had been undergoing treatment at Bangalore but expired on the night of August 9.
A well known social figure in Dimapur, late Adyanthaya was beloved by all communities and his presence was felt in all social gatherings, the NMDA’s message stated and extended deep condolences to the family of late Adyanthaya.
In a separate condolence message, the DCCI expressed deep shock to learn of the untimely demise of its General Secretary Harish K. Adyanthaya. “During his service in the DCCI, he has contributed immensely to the welfare of business community in Dimapur which will be remembered even after his demise,” the message stated and added that in his passing, DCCI has lost an able and efficient official who exhibited sincerity in all responsibilities assigned to him.
The DCCI expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
