DIMAPUR, AUGUST 29 (MExN): A special bowling session was held today at the Semi Indoor facility of Nagaland Cricket Stadium in Sovima, offering cricketers across all categories an opportunity to enhance their skills.
The session was led by Debasish Mohanty, the head coach of the Senior Men’s team for the 2024-25 season and a former Indian cricketer known for his expertise.
The cricketers gained valuable insights and techniques under Mohanty’s guidance, which were highly appreciated by the participants.
The session began with an introduction by Hyunilo, the Secretary of the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), who stressed the importance of such training for the development of cricket in the region. He also expressed gratitude for having a coach of Mohanty’s caliber.
This session is part of NCA’s ongoing efforts to nurture and promote cricketing talent in Nagaland, providing top-tier coaching and facilities for players.
