The stage is set for 24th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2024 (Lt. Kekuojalie Sachii and Lt. Vikhozo Yhoshii), commencing from September 14 under the aegis of the Angami Students’ Union (ASU) at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima.
43 teams from Nagaland and Manipur will vie for the championship.
The teams includes; Red Scars FC, Mez & Co, Tsiepfutsiepfhe YO, Nagaland University, Seithekema FCC, UEFC, Kohima Village Youth Organization, Asufii Christian Institute, Sahei FC, Onyx Titans FC, Pehlum Lamhil LA, F4C Academy, SNGC Football School, Kigwema Students’ Union, Delai FC, Japfii Christian College, Khrietho FC, Youngsters FC, Jakhama YO, Elevate FC Tobu, Sechu-Zubza FC, Magdaline CC, Asufu Football Academy, Kohima Sports Club, Kuki Students’ Orgn. NL, Re- United FC, Kohima Bible College, Orami FC, New Reserve Youth Org, Nousi Riizhii (Colleges), Michazou FC, Amateur FC, New Market FC, Khrietho FC Meriema, Jalukie Town YO, Halcyons FC, Kohima College Kohima, Circle FC Chedema, Eagles FC, Tribal Stallions FC, BKK Jakhama, Twenty XI FC and Tangkhul KS.
There will be only one match on the inaugural day.
Laying of wreaths and hoisting of flag will take place at NSF Martyrs’ Park Kohima at 8:00 AM on September 14.
Vetho, Moko, Mengu, Guru Gee, Tutu, Litsuku, Vidi & Vivo and 15th NAP (IR) Mahila Band will perform during curtain raiser at 4:00 PM. Nagaland’s Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton will grace the inaugural ceremony at 5:00 PM.
Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) president Medovi Rhi will share solidarity message while welcome address will be delivered by ASU president Khriesamhalie David Mere. The inaugural programme will be chaired by organizing committee convenor Vizokho Zashiimo while ASU games & sports secretary Metebo-o Sote will administer oath to the participating teams. Red Scars FC will face Mez & Co in the inaugural match.
Entry fee for the spectator have been fixed at Rs. 50.
