Peren, September 8 (MExN): More than 100 participants attended a Start-up Nagaland boot camp for Peren district which was held on September 7 at St Xavier college auditorium at Jalukie town.
A press release from General Manager, DIC Peren stated the boot camp was organized by the department of Industries and Commerce with an aim to scout budding entrepreneurs in the district with Kuko Nuh as the main resource person.
The program started with invocation prayer led by Fr John Vipral and welcome address by Imliwabang, General Manager, DIC Peren.
A topic on entrepreneurs’ development program was also delivered by Mhonbeni Kikon and Khekihe Zhimo from DIC Peren. Motivational talk was given by Namrenbe Kenn, Secretary of Traders Union Jalukie.
In the second session, 24 participants presented their own innovative ideas for Start-up where three winners were selected by a panel of judges. A cash prize of Rs 6000, Rs 4000 and Rs 3000 along with certificate of merits were given away to the winners respectively. The program was chaired by Alum Zeliang, EO DIC Peren.
