Vekhucho Chakhesang When I rest on my mummy’s lab, When I rest under her bosom; No spot of flies and mosquitoes is on me, She awakes by every movement of mine. She never change her mind, She never turns away from me, She cried out in a loud voice, Her breathe never end, She touches my ear and forehead; “And blessed me.” Let my child do what others can’t, Let my child speak which others can’t, Let my child understand what others can’t, Let my child see what others can’t, Let nothing be impossible for my child. Struck with her fist, She cries with a loud voice, When I suck my mummy’s breast, Her tears fell on my mouth, I drank her tears with sweetness. Now, I’m resting coz of “that”. By her tears, I could compete with others, Her tears follow me everywhere, Mummy’s tears never will dry, And remains forever and ever, I drank mummy’s tears forever and ever.
