‘Jisu Kiman Bhal Ase’- an original Nagamese song composed and written by Tali Angh premiered globally in the YouTube channels of Red Sea Films and Tali Angh Music on July 31. The video is produced in collaboration with the Red Sea Films.

Tali Angh, who is known as a contemporary Christian music artist, performer, singer-songwriter, and worship leader said that the song was inspired during a “moment of worship when he suddenly started to hum a tune.” Talking to The Morung Express on Saturday after the release, Angh said that the “heart of the song is to unite people.”

“I realised to seize the moment and that is when I started to add the chorus ‘Jisu kiman bhal ase. It was something I was catching in the spirit and I was totally unprepared for that... Months later, the song came back with stronger conviction. That is when I knew, I have to pursue and work consistently on this song,” said Angh while sharing the inspiration behind the song.

‘Musician friends helped me to come up with further arrangements needed in the song,’ acknowledges Angh.

In the musical career of Tali Angh, ‘Jisu Kiman Bhal Ase’ is his first ever Nagamese song. “We have been so stuck with English song. Perhaps we thought we would not be able to do anything in terms of Nagamese song because it is a borrowed language,” he stated.

Sharing his heart for the gospel, Angh believes that more than ever people need to hear this truth that God is good and it is important that we do not let the truth remain on the surface but the Holy Spirit is taking the initiative to take this truth and penetrate into the heart of the sons and daughter, believers. “...and as we sing and release the song into the atmosphere, people who are going to hear this song are going to resound in such a way that people are going to turn away from their wicked ways and there is going to be true repentance. The goodness of God is just going to overtake them,” he asserted.

According to the Red Sea Films founder, Sheena and Anand Paul this Nagamese song is not what they planned but “there is always something stirring there and this is something unique.” They also said that one of the objectives of Red Sea Films is to reach to more people, to be more inclusive and introduce more language to their channel.

Meanwhile, the artist has conveyed special thanks to The Lighthouse Church, Yevesa, Outloud Inc, Kohima, Benhur Binny, Sanen Kichu (San Production Kohima), The Jam Tree, (Dimapur), Kevi Pucho, Achano (Make Up Artist).
