A book titled ‘To Pay or Not to Pay Musicians: For Labor Rendered to Churches’ was released at Aria Café in Pfutsero town on December 15.

Phek, December 15 (MExN): A book titled ‘To Pay or Not to Pay Musicians: For Labor Rendered to Churches’ was released at Aria Café in Pfutsero town on December 15.
A press release received here stated that the book discusses many important matters concerning church’s responsibilities towards musicians and musicians’ responsibilities to the church. It is divided into three sets that include voices of the musicians from Nagaland and beyond. It concludes with an additional bonus set with recipes for church sound engineers and performers.
Much of the book’s concern is drawn from the personal experiences of the author, Zhalie Nienu. As a professional guitarist, he has played with several renowned bands and musicians, particularly in the pacific coast of the USA. He played regularly with the Christians Rock Band - SEED – which produced three full albums. With his MDiv degree from Berkeley School of Theology, California, he has also served the church in various capacities as Music Pastor, Youth Director, Pastor, and currently leads an English Fellowship in Pfutsero Town.
The book was prayerfully launched by Moatoshi Jamir, Pastor, Pfutsero Ao Baptist Church. The event was chaired by Wekhrou Thele, owner of Aria Café and Jubal School of Music and Arts. The Invocation was said by Krishna Ramauli, Pastor, Nepali Baptist Church. The closing prayer and grace for refreshment was said by Vepakho Vese, CBCC Youth Secretary.
