The person who went missing from Sao Chang Quarantine Centre in Tuensang on June 25 has been found.
According to official sources, around 10:00 pm on June 25 he walked up to the police personnel on duty at Civil Hospital, Tuensang and asked to make a phone call. The policemen identified him from the photos that were circulated during the search process.
The man reportedly went to meet his girlfriend, according to official sources.
He was handed over to the tribal bodies after taking his statement, the source said.
Meanwhile, according to other reports, the man said that had left the QC around 2:00am. He reportedly said that he had been having a ‘bad feeling’ that some harm would come to him if he stayed. After recording his statement, the man was sent home to his family.
