Two PSA Oxygen Plants installed in NF Railway

Maligaon, October 7 (MExN): Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi dedicated 35 PSA Oxygen Plants established under PM CARES, across 35 States and Union Territories, in an event held at AIIMS Rishikesh, Uttarakhand on October 7. 

In NF Railway, two PSA Oxygen Plants out of sanctioned seven Oxygen Plants were inaugurated by local MP and MLA at New Bongaigaon and Lumding Divisional Railway Hospitals. Earlier, one new Oxygen Plant of 500 LPM capacity was inaugurated at Central Hospital, Maligaon by Darshana Jardosh, Minister of State of Railways & Textiles on September 24. Public representatives of respective areas were also present at the site of four other Oxygen Plants (250 LPM capacity each at Katihar, New Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Dibrugarh Railway Hospitals)  those are sanctioned and under advance stage of completion. 

In New Bongaigaon, one PSA Oxygen Generator Plant was inaugurated by Abdul Khaleque, MP (Lok Sabha) at Divisional Railway Hospital today. The Oxygen Generator Plant has capacity of 250 LPM. Another PSA Oxygen Generator Plant of 100 LPM capacity was inaugurated by Sibu Mishra, MLA at Divisional Railway Hospital at Lumding. 

In New Jalpaiguri Hospital, Dr Jayanta Kumar Roy, MP (Lok Sabha/West Bengal) along with Sikha Chatterjee and Dr Sankar Ghosh, MLAs was present. MLA Suman Kanjilal was present at Divisional Railway Hospital, Alipurduar; Shri Dulal Chandra Goswami, MP (Lok Sabha) was present at Divisional Railway Hospital, Katihar. Oxygen Generator Plant of 250 LPM capacity is also under installation at Dibrugarh Railway Hospital. 

“These Oxygen Generator Plants will provide direct supply of oxygen to the patient admitted in the wards of the railway hospitals which will also be helpful for local public,” Guneet Kaur, Chief Public Relations Officer, NF Railway stated in a press release.
