USLP team visits District Hospital Kiphire

The United Sangtam Likhum Pumji (USLP) on September 20 visited District Hospital Kiphire and interacted with Medical Officers and staff. They also enquired about the ongoing developmental activities in the hospital.
Assuring full support and cooperation to the department, USLP extended gratitude to the Officers and Staffs of the district hospital for rendering noble service to the people of Kiphire.
Inspecting the ongoing renovation at old District Hospital, USLP, President, T Seopi Sangtam asked the contractor to execute the work as per the specifications given in the DPR. While observing that “the work was not satisfactory,” he added that “good health care facility cannot be taken for granted.”
The USLP President cautioned against any individuals and NNPGs disturbing the developmental activities especially in the matter of health and education.
Expressing dismay at the non-completion of Medical Officer quarter at new District Hospital Kiphire complex, he urged upon the department to complete the construction at the earliest as Officers were facing accommodation problem thereby, affecting good health care service to the people.
The USLP President also acknowledged the Multi Speciality team from Kohima led by Principal Director Health & Family Welfare for organizing free health camp for the people of Kiphire, who otherwise could not have excess to good health care facility.
