Veritas Sports team, winner of Inter-Club Champions Trophy 2023 along with Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima, Abhinav Shivam and members of the Chümoukedima & Dimapur Cricket Associations on August 9.
DIMAPUR, AUGUST 9 (MExN): Veritas Sports defeated Esa Warriors by 2 wickets to lift the Inter-Club Champions Trophy 2023 today.
The tournament was jointly organized by Chümoukedima & Dimapur Cricket Associations from August 5-9 under the aegis of Nagaland Cricket Association at Nagaland Cricket Stadium and Sovima Cricket Ground. Altogether 12 Clubs participated in the Inter-Club Champions Trophy 2023, a press release issued by Dimapur District Cricket Association informed.
Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima, Abhinav Shivam graced the final match and prize distribution ceremony. In the individual category, Menchet of Titans CC was named the best batsman, Sundaram Gupta of Esa Warriors the best blower, Nripen Rai of Titans CC the best wicket-keeper and Nagaho Chishi of Veritas Sports the player of the tournament.
