During the selection trial, two girl players for all age categories and ten boys under 16 participated in the selection trial.

Kechesin Keppen said that Wokha district is doing well in the field of cricket and wished the WDCA to continue in nurturing and producing good players. While boys were performing well in the bowling field, he encouraged them to continue to harness the best through extensive practices.

He informed that the selection will be done according to their scores of rating with overall performances which will be sent to NCA for consideration from every district.
