Dimapur, January27 (MExN): In the ongoing 6th Unity Cup being played at the local ground Chümoukedima, Whiskers CC and Shine CC registered wins on January 27.
According to an update from the organizers, Whiskers CC won the match by 120 runs against Diphupar CC in the first match of the day.
Whiskers CC batted first and scored 205 Runs in 20 overs. Chasing the target, Diphupar CC fell short of 120 runs and were all out in 15 overs. Vivek of Whiskers CC was adjudged man of the match for his 74 runs and 2 wickets haul.
In the second match of the day, Shine CC won the match by 18 runs against Jackal's United CC.
Batting first, Shine CC scored 140 runs in 20 overs. Sopan of shine CC was the highest scorer scoring 18 runs.
Jackal's United CC fell short of 18 runs and managed to score 122 runs in 20 overs. Rajan was adjudged man of the match for his 4 Runs and 3 wickets haul.
