Workshop on inclusive teaching strategies at Morung Conference Hall, Directorate of School Education, Kohima.

Kohima, August 21 (MExN): A three-day workshop on inclusive teaching strategies was organised by Department of School Education (DoSE) Nagaland, ChangeInkk Foundation, and Durham University, UK commenced at Morung Conference Hall, Directorate of School Education, Kohima on August 21.
A press release informed that the workshop was led by International expert Facilitator, Dr Johny Daniel, Assistant Professor, School of Education, Durham University, UK.
It focused on equipping educators with the skills needed to create inclusive classrooms, particularly for students with language learning difficulties and Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD).
Earlier, Principal Director, Department of School Education, Nagaland, Thavaseelan K, IAS delivered the keynote address.
Sayantani Gaddam, Senior Fellow, Policy Program and Governance, ChangeInkk Foundation, delivered the welcome address, with Mughato Swu moderating the session.
50 selected teachers from government and private schools in Kohima are participating in this workshop series, marking a significant step towards enhancing the quality of education for all learners in Nagaland.
The programme also saw participation from officials of Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland, officials from the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, GoN, SCERT- ECCE Cell Team.
