Workshop to promote homestay held in Mon

Mon, September 13 (MExN): The District Administration, Mon organised a workshop at DC conference Hall, Mon in collaboration with Airbnb which is an online travelling agency which does listing of homes and spaces for rental on September 11. ADC Mon, Hiazu Meru delivered the welcome address.

According to a press release, the workshop was conducted by Christina, Trainer for North East India, Airbnb. The workshop was organised with an aim to promote the existing home stay, guest house and hotel owners to help them improve and expand their business strategies. The workshop was also made open to young, unemployed youths and potential home stay entrepreneurs in order to encourage innovative ways of revenue generation as well in promoting tourism in the area. The participants were not only introduced to Airbnb but were also given inputs on critical requirements to ensure guest satisfaction for home stays.

Practical demonstration of a listing creation on Airbnb was also done. A total of 61 participants attended the workshop.
