NIULAND, SEPTEMBER 5 (MExN): The Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) has voiced strong concerns over the delayed and substandard progress of the road construction project from Central Jail to Atu Ghoki Hozukhe in Niuland.
Highlighting the crucial importance of this road as a key link between the State Capital and other districts, the WSYF media cell, in a press release, emphasized that the road must be made fully navigable to prevent inconvenience and hardship for travelers.
It lamented that despite assurances from M/S VIPE Enterprise regarding timely completion, the project has experienced significant delays, leading to widespread frustration among the local population.
The WSYF pointed out numerous issues with the current state of the road, including potholes, shattered patches, and uneven surfaces, which pose serious safety hazards for both drivers and pedestrians. The Federation called on M/S VIPE Enterprise to prioritize the swift and effective completion of the project while addressing the apparent quality deficiencies. Stressing the need for robust road quality as a fundamental step towards progress and prosperity, it urged the firm to improve the standard of work and appealed to the executing agencies to closely monitor and verify the progress to ensure that the quality meets acceptable standards.
Acknowledging the efforts of both the firm and the authorities, the Federation reiterated its commitment to advocating for the public's interests and called for expedited action to ensure visible progress on the road construction.
