In commemoration of National Sports Day 2024, the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland, today conferred cash award to 360 meritorious sportspersons at the glittering ceremony held at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Nagaland’s Youth Resources & Sports director Kethosituo Sekhose said that the department plans to introduce e-sports. Olivi Thurr, Assistant Election Officer Kohima delivered short speech.
The programme was chaired by Megolhu Dolie, Additional Director YRS while the welcome address was delivered by Teisobou Sekhose, Joint director, Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland. Vote of thanks was proposed by Khriehutuo Tsira, senior state coach.
