KOHIMA, AUGUST 22 (MExN): In commemoration of the National Sports Day 2024 to be observed on August 29, the Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports has informed that the cash award programme to meritorious Sports persons for the year 2023-24 will be held on August 29 in IG Stadium, Kohima at 11:00 am.
The award will be given to those who won medals in recognized disciplines/tournaments affiliated to NOA in the International, National & North-East levels. The concerned medal winners who have submitted their certificates have been asked to collect the award personally. As per the SOP direction from the Ministry, all have been requested to preferably come in sports attire.
