Dimapur, June 19 (MExN): The Zeliangrong Students' Union, Nagaland (ZSUN) and Kuki Students' Organization, Nagaland (KSON) on Friday expressed disappointment at the ‘discourtesy’ on the part of the state government towards the plight of the people of Peren district.
In a joint press release, the two organizations alleged ‘discernment’ and said that “The plight of the district cannot be ignored and compromised at the level of discourse until our genuine demand is respected and obliged.” As such, the ZSUN and KSON stated that “The state government has tested enough the patience of the public,” while adding that “the public shall take its own course of action.”
“If any untoward incident happen in future, the government is responsible for it,” it stated.
