ZUNHEBOTO, MARCH 30 (MExN): The Zunheboto DC has ordered that not more than 25kgs of rice (any brand) shall be sold per customer/family by the business establishment dealing with essential commodities. Further all shops/groceries dealing with essential commodities in the district have been required to maintain a minimum buffer stock of 30bags of rice, 10bags of salt and 100 kgs of dal at their disposal. This minimum buffer stock can only be used for the needy and only in any event of an emergency on the express sanction of the district administration. The DC cautioned that any cases of illegal hoarding, black marketing, unjustified escalation in the commodity prices and failure to maintain a minimum buffer stock of the items specified, would invite legal action.
