2nd Kohima Football League 2018: Vanguard FC, Twenty XI FC wins

Vanguard FC and Twenty XI FC today registered win in their respective match at the ongoing 2nd Kohima Football League here under the aegis of Kohima Town Club.  

In the first match of the day, Vanguard FC Tseminyu defeated Ziekezou SC 4-2.  

Ziekezou SC gained the first goal through Alex Lhouviphrelie in 12th minute who again scored the second goal for the team in the 23rd minute.  

Yhunshalo Kemp of Vanguard FC decreased the margin of Ziekezou FC by netting the first goal for his team in the 24th minute.  

Two minute later, he contributed another goal while Mathew Kezhose increased the score tally of Vanguard FC in the 62nd and 63rd minute.  

Twenty XI FC Viswema downed United 16 FC 2-1 in the second match of the day.  

The former gained the winning goals through Kelengoto James and Metol Neikha in the 54th and 62nd minute respectively.  

A lone goal for United 16 FC came through the boots of Tianuksung in the 75th minute.  

For the first time, Joy Chandra, an AIFF referee instructor officiated as the main referee and Imli Merenla Jamir assisted in the line as the first lady official in the KFL 2018 during the 2nd match.
