LFHSS conduct cleanliness drive in Dimapur

Dimapur, September 8 (MExN): Keeping up with the Nation’s endeavour of Swachh Bharat and in continuation of observing ‘Year of Community Service’, Livingstone Foundation Hr. Sec. School (LFHSS) conducted its third cleanliness drive (Swachh Phakwada) on September 8.  

The school informed in a press release that a total of 1000 students from Grade-VI to XII along with the school management and staff conducted the cleanliness drive at LFHSS and its surrounding areas, FCI Junction, Lhomithi Junction, Army Supply Road to Dhobinala Junction, Dhobinalla Area, West Yard and Kalibari Areas, Holy Cross Junction, entire stretch of Nyamo Lotha Road, MP Road Area and City Tower Area.  

Earlier, a brief launching programme was held at the school campus where the students and the staff undertook the Swachatta Oath administered by Ani Yepthomi, Director Junior High.  

Andrew Ahoto, Chairman cum Principal exhorted the gathering to be embodiments of cleanliness on a daily basis and to inculcate the habit of keeping one’s self, household, surroundings and school premises always clean.  

Further, the school has also taken up the novel mission of donating 200 dustbins at various locations in Dimapur City and to put up Cleanliness Awareness Banners and Posters at key locations from Chumukedima Gate till DC Court Junction and Stickers on Public Transport Vehicles from September 11 onwards.
