Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): Working President, Muslim Council, Dimapur, A Rahman informed that only one representative from Dimapur attended the Tablighi Jamaat Markaz at Nizamuddin, Delhi and has now been quarantined. “He returned on March 12 and is healthy now,” Rahman added. He also said that two Muslims from Dimapur who went to Nizamuddin area for shopping has been traced. The samples of the trio has been tested negative, he informed. Stating that there were reports of harassment against the community in Dimapur after the Markaz, he appealed the public to restrain from communalising the issue. The meeting held at DC’s Conference Hall was attended by district administration, police, administrative circle officers, DMC, DCCI, NWHD, DUCCF, DNSU, GB’s Union Dimapur, Dimapur District GB’s Association, MCD and Dimapur District Village Council Chairmen Association. The information given out at the meeting contradicted the official version.
