Barak blanks Turaco in style to move to semis

Defending champions Barak FC sailed into the semi-finals of the 23rd Classic Cup 2017 in style blanking Turaco FC 5-0 at the Kohima local ground today in what was the first quarter-finals encounter of the tournament. Barak was in complete control with Elminhao Konyak striking thrice to take the game away from a struggling Turaco. Elminhao’s sensational effort was backed up by Rhitso Mero and Hitovi with a goal each to their names. At the semi-finals on November 17, Barak will face the winner of the 2nd quarter-final match scheduled on November 14.
