All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union(ANHTU) celebrated 32nd State Level Hindi Diwas at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall, hosted by ANHTU, Kiphire Unit and attended by Chuba Aier, DEO, Kiphire and Robert, Personal Assistant attending on behalf of S Kiusumee Yimchunger, Advisor, Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guard & Civil Defence.
The programme started with a welcome address and cultural performance by Students showcasing the richness of Hindi through song and folk songs.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion of Hindi Diwas Chuba Aier, underlined the importance of preserving and promoting Hindi in daily life while also respecting other regional languages.
He emphasised the role of Hindi in connecting people across diverse regions and cultures of India.
Also speaking at the programme, President ANHTU, thank Kiphire Unite for taking the trouble and initiative in hosting state level Hindi Diwas.
Highlighting why Hindi Diwas is celebrated he said Hindi Diwas is celebrated in Indian on 14th September every year to mark the importance of Hindi as one of the official languages of the country.
Giving historical background he stated on September 14, the constituent Assembly of India adopted Hindi (written in the Devanagari script) as the official language of India)
He added Hindi is one of the most widely spoken languages in India and serves as a link language connecting people from different regions.
Robert representing Advisor said teachers teaching by choice means you are giving your best in imparting quality education with dedication. He urged teachers to give their best wherever they may be posted as teachers are the backbone of society and plays a tremendous role in shaping the lives and future of society.
He encouraged the students to speak Hindi not only in schools and colleges but also in public arena so that we learn from one another in understanding different cultures.
The programme was chaired by Kumjila and Boibu Kuki and invocation pronounced by Thsapi Assoc. Pastor (North Zone).
While Vande Mataram was sung by GMS Kiphire Village and folk song by GHS Yangphi, while vote of thanks was proposed by Lipokyanger Jamir, V/P ANHTU, Kiphire Unit.
