A participant during the AGBCN 13th annual general conference held at the Mission Centre, Dimapur on January 9 and 10.
Dimapur, January 12 (MExN): The Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) 13th annual general conference was held under the theme ‘Triumph over difficulties (Deuteronomy 20:4)’ at the Mission Centre in Singrijan, Dimapur on January 9 and 10.
A total of 42 out of 50 affiliated Gorkha churches participated in the conference. The Academic Dean of Servanthood Bible College, Obed Rai was the worship speaker of the conference which was hosted by NBC Chümoukedima, NBF Razaphe, GBC Kikhruruzha, GBC Lotovi, GBC Niuland, GBC Singrijan, GBC Zuheshe and GBC Yeveto.
In the first day, AGBCN Executive Secretary, K Santabir Rai unfurled the association’s flag followed by hoisting of the respective church flags.
DABCC, President, Rev KN Kele Angami and AGBCN, Council Chairman Tek Gurung delivered on the first and second day respectively.
Business session was also held including reports of various departments including the Church & Mission, Women, Youth, Resource & Development and Pastors' Fellowship were presented by respective secretaries and chairman.
Selection of new AGBCN Board Members for 2021-2023 tenure was conducted and farewell to outgoing leaders of different department under AGBCN was also held.
